Id be interested in your valuation of the bike seeing that you just sold an RB-2

Valuations are always difficult, i sold mine along with a decent trainer(in out chrono) and got about 3k iirc, i would value the bike around 1500-2000 depending on overall condition and how original it is, mine had almost all original parts with good condition hoods.

Had one rim replaced due to damage, and got biopace rings etc to take it back to its original state

Hi All,

Much excitement... I own my very first Steel Frame bike.

A Bridgestone RB-2, I like the look of the geometry and the condition is impressive, she has been stuck in a roof for 10 years!!! A bit of Googling and I'm guessing this bike is a 93 model...

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey dude, just bought a 88 Bridgestone RB-2 yesterday, also super excited as this is my first steel frame as well. Also plan to clean the restore/clean frame as best I can, but I plan to fit  newer components (brifters etc.) and hopefully put on some cx tyres (hopefully, depending on the frame/brakes).

Awesome bikes those. In high school my mate had a Radac, and my brother in law still has both his Radac and RB2 and will probably never let them go.
