Do interval training on a hill, your climbing will get better.

If it was 1100m in 10km it would be a climb, but 1100m in 24km is only 4.5%, on average, so barely classifies as rolling hills.... slight incline on average maybe..... Actually the average is very misleading on that climb.... did it in 2006 during the etape.... was a bit of a hassle because there was a HUGE crash at the front on the decent descent and they held up the ride till they cleared the injured..... the following hills were more impressive....

 

hopefully another decent descent!
