120km+ road rides: alternative to southern peninsula?

Hallo,

Vulgar as it might sound, I'm getting a little bored with riding around the southern peninsula/Constantia. I'm looking for reasonably safe alternative routes out of Cape Town to do 120km+ long rides, i.e. roads having a shoulder, not passing known hotspots for bikejackings etc. I know that the Westcoast road is used, but I'm uncertain about the safety i.t.o. car at high speeds.

Where do you do your long rides?

Stellenbosch > Helzhoogte Pass > Franschoek Pass / Theewaters' Dam & Back [110 - 140 kms; 1800 metres ascent

That's one beautiful route.

Paarl > Du Toits' Pass > Slanghoek > Bainskloof Pass > Paarl [130 kms; 1600 metres ascent]

Another beaut'

Are there any good routes from Table View out to Stellenbosch side that are quiet / have a shoulder?

Edit* Never mind, google maps ftw... ! Is klipheuwel quite a popular route?
