dracs Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 It seems to slow down the satellite pickup when you move start points between sessions - almost if it "remembers" where you were when you stopped the last time you used it, then gets confused for a while when you move it to a new start position.that's what I initially thought the problem was. But then I remembered, I was in C a p e T o w n where everything is just a little slower...

Must say, I have been running 3.3 for a while now and the 500 is behaving better than ever - haven't noticed slow satellite acquisition (other than when I got off a plane in CTN that is...)Just out of curiosity, what did you find better with 3.3 that 3.1? I am yet to experience any issues with 3.1

I am yet to experience any issues with 3.1 TBH I am not sure what version I had before I updated so its possible it was pre-3.1, but I was having to repeatedly re-scan for my sensors (similar to OP issue)... problem went away with 3.3
