de Wildt off roader Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Event Name: De Wildt Off Road Series MTB ChallengeWhen: 8 November 2014Where: Laeskool Vissershoek, GautengCategory: MTBThe 3rd de Wildt off road series MTB challenge is taking place on the 8 th of November 2014.There are two routes to choose from 35 & 55 kilometres .The start & the finish is at Laerskool Vissershoek , also the beneficiary of the event .Both routes will take you across a selection of farms , Both commercial & game , and nature reserves. The series is hosted at the foothills of the magnificent Magalies mountains and will take you through the best scenery Gauteng has to offer , with a generous mix of single tracks , streams and technical climbs .Be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife and antelope along the routes .Technical service point with water points along both routes. 2 X 2 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 What an awesome route! Apart from the first 10km the rest was just really good single track. Good climbs, down hills and beautifull single track through the treas. I did not know that there are such beautifull places in that area.
