everyone telling me how this could have been avoided and that its my fault is also missing the point, im not even denying that its not my fault! im saying that this happened in 6 months, damage like this should take a lot longer!

Not if you thrash the hub by continuing riding knowing that there is a fault. That noise was a symptom of an underlying fault that you ignored because you wanted to ride the weekend. and then left it for weeks.

No matter how old it is, jy het die hub deur jou g*t getrek.

its not my fault the milk is off, its my fault i keep using it.

the milk should not be off, i should not have to take it back!

i have every right to be annoyed at the cow who made the milk or the dude who lied about the use by date.

What you did, was to leave the milk in the sun, and then be all surprised the next morning to find sour milk.

I really hope you get sorted out, but I am really glad that I am not one of your service providers.

Just my 2c. I have been riding my Novatech "Entry level" hubs for nearly 2 years, plenty of km's (Street/dirt jumping/etc), even transferred them to my new enduro bike. Other than having to replace the bearings after a year and a half, I had no issues. It comes down to maintenance and resisting the urge to go ride if you know there is something wrong with your bike. If it starts making "funny sounds" inspect and fix it then and there. Usually ends up getting worse and more expensive to fix if you ignore it.
