This is something I would really like to try.. (enduro) you know I have the 27.5 zula with 100mm rear and 120mm front Would I need to buy a new bike or make changes to my bike.. ek weet niks..

And I just know my husband wants to start enduro too.. (he has the 26 zula frame that he has converted to 27.5 with 120mm up front. )

Any advice.. or should I go ask on the enduro thread instead?

Both bikes are perfect. You could even do it on Hardtails, wouldn't be as much fun, but it is do-able.

Karkloof?!?! Sweeeet!

Bat Outta Hell, Gauntlet, and Rene's Rumble better be included?!?!

Can't wait for Feb!

I can tell you now that for the KZNMTB event we wont be using Bat outta hell as the Karkloof organisers have asked to keep that for their Enduro Event that will be linked to the Classic.

We have a number of stages that we will potentially use and although similar to the Classic - we will alter them slightly enough to make sure it feels different. No new trails as such but just creative taping etc.

We are planning to use Rene's and the Gauntlet for sure!

Gen ... your bikes will be fine. All i would suggest is maybe getting a pair of lightweight knee guards such as a set of G-form? or Fox Launch.

Other than that normal XC skid lid is fine ... you can even wear lycra if you want!   but you may get chirped as your kit is not #ENDURO ... hahahaha

But as I have said to Sikes (now Mar) ... just come along and have fun ... the trails are generally just normal XC trails that go downhill that you will ride HARD! Its really really good for your XC skills and confidence.

Lol.. thx..

Donna worry.. will def leave the lycra at home.... and look at getting some knee guards etc.. I am very excited now.. already looking at that calender.. as we all know I am Giba mal.. and been wanting to go to Karkloof for a long time now. . So now I have a valid reason for extra trips down that way. . [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] ..

Very keen for this to come around :)

Stoked with the enduro on Sat and downhill on Sun format.... And no interference from XCO, so should making marking the courses a lot easier for event management.

Can't come soon enough, but does give me some time to get these legs working again!

Hey guys and girls

please note there has been a date change for the Giba Provincial next year.

It is now a week earlier!

Being the 18th and 19th April - NO LONGER the 25th 26th

This is due to the Mankele Nationals date being moved to the 25th-26th and then clashing.

Thanks

Nige
