Guys, I'm happy to say.

 

After I spoke to the seller and mentioned the problem, he offered me the original RST fork that came with the bike. Fitted it and it's all good. No more play to speak off.

 

Flowta, I'm sure there are more need people out there that would love to have the fork (probably ten times better than the one I have on here now), so feel free to hand it over to someone else that might need it.

 

Thanx guys for all the help here, it's much appreciated. At least now I can save up for disc brakes alround :-)
