I am leaning towards Garmin as Suunto seems to be very iProduct reliant. From what I have read the Fenix2 and the Tactix are much of a muchness?Perhaps there is something else out there I don't know about. Opinions and facts appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Thank you in advance!I think the best would be to have a look at DCRAINMAKER's reviews and decide. If you want a watch purely for multisport I would say a Garmin 910xt or 920 will be better suited than the Fenix 2. But if you want to use the watch for multisport and hiking orienteering and adventurous travel, the Fenix 2 or Ambit 3 will be great.
Heel Drop Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 It really depends also on the battery life you need etc. There are so many variables on the watches and best is read lots of reiews and you will see things pop up you did not even think of and then make a decision. I like the TOM TOM with build in HR monitor but I need something with at least a 24 hour battery life for endurance racing ( without charging it) So I am still waiting. I think at the moment the Suunto TOR does 50 hrs but no built in HR and a hefty price tag. I almost want to say rather improve my Iphone and its battery life and functionality so I only need one piece of equipment for everything. At the moment I use a lifproof cover ( water proof and shock ) with an additional charge for 4 times.It works for what I want in terms of funcionality and will wait as the next year or so we will see a massive growth in this market

I'm worried I lose functionality without it... The Tactix just looks so awesome with that green backlight! DCrainmaker is a very thorough man! Great advice thank you!
