Sunningdale to Tygerberg MTB Trails weekend rides

Hi Hubbers,

 

I am looking to join a group of intermediate riders, preferably not racing snakes since I can't keep up, who are interested in riding to Tygerberg MTB trails from Sunningdale area in a group on weekends. I have been amping to go for a while, but don't want to go it alone, especially past Du Noon etc.

 

I have been watching a couple groups head out and back every now and then but do not know where they start at, or if they would like someone to join?

I stay up at Barrington. About five or so minutes ride from Cycle Direct. I was thinking that would be a great staging point to start from.

If there are any persons interested, I am unfortunately unable this weekend as I am currently on a work trip to Zambia...

 

I will be back in the saddle again next weekend, so if any hubbers are keen to hook up for a not so fast paced ride to TBMTB starting at Cycles Direct, drop me a pm and I will set it up for say early Saturday morning of the 22nd Nov.

I ride the new Sandown road most weekends alone and have not had a problem as the road is quite busy now (and more often than not has a police roadblock on it). If your still not sure about your safety i would recommend hanging around at the Gie road intersection for fellow riders going in the same direction (just ask if you can join them).
