Simonsberg Enduro this weekend

This was a fun event. The ideal beginners enduro and there were 108 competitors. Dirtopia organised a great event and its great to see events getting slicker as people get used to the format and tech requirements.

 

The five stages were quite varied but almost all were loose and slippery in places. My heavyish Reign is not ideal for this one as its  a race for an XC bike and my wife completed it without incident as her first enduro event on her Zula. The stress and worry before was worse than the ride. 

 

I think we'll see even more enduro races in CT and SA next year.
