Hi All

I did a search in the tech zone, but did not find anything to aid my specific problem.

Please help me...

I need to convert a Hope Pro 2 (not evo) rear hub from 9mm QR to 12mm TA.

I bought an adapter kit, but this does not fit onto the existing axle of the hub. (Kit is for an evo hub)

The bike's rear 12mm axle also does not fit into the hub.

So, seem like I need a new (larger diameter) axle and bearings for the hub.

Anybody done this and know if this conversion is at all possible?

Thanks in advance.

I think Evo bike(Durbanville) may have one of those kits laying around .

Do you want to sell the existing kit? What's the reference number ,Im doing the same thing to an Evo 2 hub.

Which system is you bike using? Syntace X12 axel is 0,01mm smaller (11.9mm)and I know that DT Swiss and Shimano are not compatable with it;be careful of thread pitch difference if screwing into frame.

Hi Bspoke

It is the Syntace X12. I won't try and mix/match components, but thanks for the heads-up!

I'll give Evobike a call a little later today, thanks.

Yes, I'll PM you about the existing kit.

Cheers
