    Naas, weereens wel gedaan met die die patat mtb. Pragtige roete, selfs met die bietjie reen en modder was dit sommer ekstra mooi toe die son sy kop uitsteek. Eintlik 'n voorreg om in die reen te kan ry met die droogtes in die kaap. Het weer die 45 gery. Toe die 45 verlede jaar ingekom het was ek vreeslik bly, want die 60 was in die verlede hierdie tyd van die jaar altyd net daai spreekwoordelike "bridge too far." En die 30 bied nie daai mooi klim teen die berg uit. Hou so aan. Dit lyk vir my of die getalle elke jaar groei. Sien uit om volgende jaar terug te wees vir nr. 11 !!

    Ok here's an image of my On One. Uploaded at last. It really does glow in the dark! Been single speed for a long time but fitted gears now to help the knees, all old-ish parts. (2 x 9). Love it. Seeing all the nice bikes on here, I need to up my game!

    Been riding my On One Summer Season this past week, after about a year of only riding the Sukuma. Man oh man, it's a wake up call of note. Love it. Thinking of giving the Sukuma a rest and take the 150mm fork to the On One. In fact, the On One deserves a proper build now, it's made up of left over parts with a 130mm fork. Still a schweeeeeet ride!

    Thanks Esel and the team. Best weekend spent on a mountainbike. Been doing the one day thing since 2010 and I think you have a great thing coming with this event. Routes were awesome and as always tough but so rewarding. Really enjoy riding in your backyard. It really is a special place. Thanks again. In for next year without a doubt. Cheers!     Wel gedaan Naas. Die verbetering jaar na jaar is duidelik sigbaar. Die aantal mense hierdie jaar spreek alreeds boekdele, Regtig 'n baie goed georganiseerde byeenkoms. Dit was nou my 9de patatfees sedert 2006 en ek sal verseker terug wees. Die tent na die tyd was great, die start was baie goed volgens my. Fireworks! Roetes in perfekte toestand. Meatballs by die waterpunte was baie lekker, dankie. Baie lucky draw pryse en selfs ouderdomskategorie pryse vir elke afstand! Well done. Hou asb ook die 45km opsie in die toekoms, gee my kans vir 'n paar ekstra biere die Vrydagaand. Goedgaan! Tot volgende jaar. Ek sien alreeds uit.

    I managed to break my TA skewer a while ago by overtightening it ( I know I know). Replaced it with a slightly modified normal qr skewer and it actually works! At R45 plus a little goodwilling help from the lbs. Only difference now is you have to remove the complete skewer in order to remove the axle. Tried to order the axle from suppliers but could not find the correct one. Crc had some that time for R650 I think.
