Sram GXP Bottom Bracket Query

I have the following situation:

Swift D-vore Carbon Frame with a PF30 (pressfit) bottom bracket shell. 73mm wide.

I want to use Sram XX Carbon Cranks. They need GXP bottom bracket bearings.

I cannot seem to find a BB that will work for both of these. I need a GXP pressfit 73mm wide BB.

I can find GXP BB30, but threaded, not press fit. I can find GXP pressfit, but its 92mm wide, not 73mm.

Any suggestions?

Yip that is basically an adaptive spacer.

Your frame is made to accept a BB30 shaft  OD 30mm, which is shorter - 73mm

Your crank is thinner - OD 24mm, but is longer 92mm.

This adaptive space will sort out your problem.

When putting a GXP crank into this frame, will the cranks Q-factor work in the frame or is that BB independent, spindle seems a lot wider 73 vs 92mm or does using the matching BB make that immaterial?

I had to use one of those BSA adapters on my Fondriest fram as well. I used a XT BB and crank. I had to play around with bb spacers alot to get the right alignment on the crank.

The Q-factor is built in to the arms, has f-all to do with the bb-width.

We have moved on from square taper and octalink BB's many years ago.

You need a Pressfit GXP and they are available, if you can't find joy, give me a shout on Monday.

The width should not worry you too much as you can use spacers and don't forget , the non-drive side is narrower that the drive side.

You can also get a "sleeve" type adapter that gets pressed in and you can then use a standard threaded BB with that.
