Change from formula C1 to Shimano XT: worth it?

yep, that is the plan. I just like to get common opinions from people who have/had them. First steps to bed them in but good. Never had formulas before, anything special to know? Aside from normal disc brake bedding-in procedure

I'm no expert but besides from going easy on them for the first ride all is working well. I've got XT's on my HT and they are definitely better. Better feel, modulation etc. but I've seen no need to chuck the C1's away. They do the job for the trail riding I do.

Agreed... XT's latest generation are brilliant... allow one finger braking with ease... 180 front and 160 rears are more than suffient... you will need an adaptor for front 180's
