Here is the latest edition to my home-tools .... well sort  off ....

 

 

The Thule rack is NICE !!  It does its job perfectly well ...

 

BUT, it is bulky and an awkward weight to lift off the ground each time the rack is to be fitted ....

 

Plus the other items that must go into the boot for each ride must be stored somewhere ....

 

 

 

And thus the Thule rack was born.

 

About the same height as the tow-bar, thus just a slight lift, swing to the left, drop onto the car's towball.  At a much more convenient working height. 

 

 

Nice storage space for the goodies ...
