Slowbee Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Hi everyone in somerset west/strand/stellenbosch there are a bunch (about 20) of development riders with pick n pay gear, they average about 15 years in age does anyone know anything about these guys? i think some of them have numbers on their bikes - is this league or amateur status?
pedal Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Slowbee, They are part of a club, that comes to our training in winter at Killarney Race Track, and get geared up for the Eric Van Enter Inter schools event. I am sure that they are from Khaletithia.Any problems with them?

Mike Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 I had seen them on the roads when I lived in Stellenbosch. Bunch was smaller than 20 when I last saw them but all very enthusiastic. I ended up riding with them on two occasions when out training, was good fun with a laugh or two.

Rookie101 Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 We have tried that, and at events as well.... I even stopped at the garage once and had a nice chat with the adults accopanying them as they let them ride without helmets in peak traffic. The adults were more concerned about the fried chips than the children without head gear at that stage
