Was looking to get a Stages power meter crank for my 2008 Cervelo P3, however besides the fact that he cranks seem to be carbon cranks FSA ISIS Drive I'm also not sure what the situation is with the BB size. According to Google the 2008 P3 had a "English bottom bracket 1.37 x24tpi with a 68mm shell width"

What are my options for a new crank that would work with this size/type BB or should I be looking at other options for power? Is there any way to conform without taking apart what the BB is?

Any education would be appreciated.

I thought so too, but apparently it's BB specific.

That doesnt seem right?

Stages measures the stress on the crank arm - no influence on the BB.

The only thing I can think of is if you buy a complete crank - then it would be BB specific.

Also check out 4iiii`s - could be another option.

A BSA BB is your most common that there is. You can use basically any crankset except true BB30 cranks with it.

Your cheapest stages option would be to get a sram rivel crankset. This uses a external BB that screws into the BSA BB shell.

Otherwise you can also use any shimano stages cranksets.

(please note that I am talking about cranksets, as your current crank and BB wont work.).
