NEWBIE CYCLIST Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I just would like to put it out there. THANK YOU. I am new in the whole cycling thing, been now 2 1/2 months that I am really cycling hard. I started cycling in the cradle about a month and a half ago, and it is refreshing, to see how everybody is towards one another. You get greets, even from the one guy who is battling his hinie off to get up that hill, smiles, and the two times I had to stop now with punctures, there is almost not a cyclist that would not ask if they can help whilst passing, and since both times was my back tyre, and me not being sure how to do it all, when I said yes, I need help, I realised it was not just empty niceness, they MEAN it, stopped, and helped. So incredibly refreshing, where otherwise, life could be a bit aggressive and not AS friendly... I am genuinely proud to become part of this community, and am hoping that I will still be able to return all those favours, that's been offered to me, when I was in need.... I am excited for every ride, with the beautiful scenery and the people. Thanks for making this for me too, such a pleasurable event!
