Traverse Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 It is a new year and I am itching! I think maybe I should buy a new frame, dump my old frame and built a beautiful new bike? The new Yeti ASR Carbon (Turquoise) is properly the best looking bike, for me in the world‼! But the guys in Morningside are no longer there? Is there another way to get hold of the frame or is it easier to buy a Santa Cruz Tallboy frame?
Iwan Kemp Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I'd go with the Tallboy for two main reasons Support through Dragons is almost guaranteed. Buying a bike or frame that is imported and supported by one shop has the potential to go pear-shaped. Rode the ASR and it has quite a bit of flex in the BB. Cool bike, fast, light and all the rest, but I think the SC will be a safer bet.

Dvdvyver Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 SC Tallboy - an absolute pleasure of a bike! Amazing downhill and still fast if you want to race; love riding that bike. Rode it on a Epic training camp and simply just cruises over the worst terrain
