I'm looking for a first enduro bike, and I'm currently considering the Commencal Meta 5.5 LTD, but I'm a bit concerned about the carbon swing arm. Should I be worried? http://dialdbikes.co.za/commencal-meta-5.5-limited-2010.html I also tried to get hold of this, but the seller didn't like the 12K I offered. I'm not really sure how to estimate the value of a second hand bike, should I have offered more? Thanks
Iwan Kemp Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Hi, and welcome to The Hub. There's no reason to be concerned about the swingarm on the Commencal. That's quite a deal on a very capable bike. How tall are you? Consider up-sizing and running a shorter stem - that'll bring the bike inline with latest trends.
