FlyingScot Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Hi Guys, I will be in the Durban area for the weekend 24/25 January 2015 and would like to bring my bike for a race - either road or MTB. I have tried searching but I have only found the Euro Steel Drak Descent (a 2 day stage race in the Berg) - a bit far. Are there any other events scheduled? Thanks in advance!
JPD Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 nope, unfortunately not. I'm not 100% sure about road, but the only MTB race is the one you mentioned. Check out roag.co.za, most KZN races are done by them.

Closer to Durban is Giba Gorge (http://www.gibagorge.co.za/), up the coast is Holla Trails (http://www.hollatrails.co.za/), down the coast is Rocky Bay (http://www.rockybay.co.za/)
