Mar Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Hey peeps, How safe is the ride from Frateli's to the dam and back at around 16:30/17:00? Would it be wise to do it alone?
BBN Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Ride it every week on my own and with others, even night rides, and it is one of the safest sections on the Spruit, IMHO! Always plenty of peeps riding that route every day.

BBN Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 If you don't know the route well, make sure you follow the trail under the road by Victory Park Virgin Active to avoid trying to cross the road in busy traffic.
Mar Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 I know the route very well, on it every wknd. But in the mornings when it's busier than the M1.I was just wondering how busy/safe it is for mid week, late afternoon ride.
