So I just bought myself a set of new wheels and well I now had to stand there and look at probably 25 different tyre options... I decided on the conti gator skins just due to there robustness and all round great reputation to be puncture proof for the most part... Was running 23mm and once I had a puncture, the entire tyre disappeared into the deep section rim and it was quite a mission to get out... Took it to my LBS and they suggested I go for GP 4000's as they can apparently just be pulled off with the use of tyre levers??

Possible, but they always make it sound/seem easier than really is.

Keep those tyre levers with you.!

Keep the tyre levers with. While it's possible to get the Gp4000 off without them, I find it quite a struggle and more so when you need it done quickly.
