Runbikeswim Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Did my normal spruit loop where i start in randparkriff go down beyers up to water tower to the dam, do emmerentia, up delta and to fralellis and back. Today i skipped the tower and went straight to dam ( if i went up to tower would have missed this) The spruit was also unusually quite and i only passed 2 guys the whole ride. Just as i approached fratellis around that corner ( around 500 meters ) there was a taxi parked in the middle of that felt with around 8 guys all obviously intoxicated walking up towards me. One guy just had boxers on and most of the rest where without shirts. Sensing trouble i went off the path onto the grass prob 5 meters off the path , the boxer guy came towards me and made a swing shouting in his language just missing me) i went past them by around 50 meters stopped my bike and grabbed my pepper spray with just one word that came out " F%#€ers! ( i don't normally swear) then my senses came back and i realized its around 8 to 1 and a 50 ml pepper spray wont go far. Got back on bike and went up to fratellis and up on the tar back home. I not only did not in any way antagonized these fools but i went out of my way to avoid them, with that punk going out if his to try and hurt me. These guys didn't want my bike they just wanted trouble, and at the place i thought was safest place on the spruit. Be safing and the hering guys, some people are just evil.

These drunk bastards were probably in the mood for *** and you happened to be lucky contestant number 1. It makes me angry that these mouth-breathers were drinking in a public park and trying to victimise persons passing by.
