Cav' Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 Common sense prevailed and the stage was cancelled, riders rode to the finish under neutral conditions.As much as we love the excitement desert racing can bring; sandstorms, high winds and furnace temperatures - hot enough to cause punctures - do not make for safe racing, especially on tricky descents. Guess it may not be a popular decision for some, the guys are good, but surely don't need to take risks any more than they already do.
