Best place for bike spares

Hi All

 

I'm looking for some advice or recommendations. I'm constantly in need of spares/parts such as gear cables,spokes,nipples,lube,mineral oil, etc; basically all general bits and pieces to maintain my bikes. I've always brought these thibgs from my LBS's, but its getting more expensive each time and they often don't have enough to sell me and use in their store.

 

I'm looking for a cheapish shop or whole saler or bulk seller that sells direct to the public to get these type of things from. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Your LBS should have everything that you mention in plentiful supply.  If they don't then find another LBS.

Depending where you are in Jhb Solomon's Woodmead or Linden seem to be the best for spares.  I stock spokes, nipples and most of what you mention so if you don't come right give me a shout.

If you are buying in bulk it doesnt hurt to ask for a discount.
