Did you use the bar mount with the camera inside the waterproof casing?

Just curious if you did since I found the HP action cam tends to heat up which causes it to mist up inside

Yes, I had it in the waterproof case. I didn't have any issues with misting up, but it wasn't very cold when I was testing it.

 

I have seen this on other cameras, particularly when outside conditions are cold, e.g. early / winter rides, in water, etc.

 

GoPro make anti-fog inserts which I've used in the past on other cameras - they work well and could be used with any camera. I'd think they'll all suffer similar problems in the same conditions (depending on how hot the camera gets).
