tunariaan Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Hi guysiI will be around the corner from Lourensford for the next week.Where can i ride my mtbike without to much hassles with gates ect.i prefer more technical stuff.Any major climbs in the area.most of my riding will be in the afternoon.thx

Then there is also Schapenberg and Helderberg Farm, although I don't have any experience with these. There is also the Wannabees routes, which is mostly through the farms in the area, not too technical, and you will have to get a day permit to ride.

U obviously haven't ridden Hans se kop or magic mountain recently. Riaan, let me know if u keen to ride schapenberg, it's great fun.

Frohan Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 I mostly ride alone and with my pepperspray on my top tube, BUT there's NO way I will go to Scapenberg alone, very dodgy and we had a couple of hijackings there. Safest is go to Jonkershoek, there you can get all levels of riding/tracks !!!
