Stretch Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Just seen that a mates BIL had his bike forcibly removed from him in the chase valley forests - where the dirt road meets the otto's bluff road. They were coming down the otto's bluff road and as they turned right into the forest road these two brain cells jumped out the bush and demanded his bike under knife point. This basically means that that side of the chasevalley/cascades forests are out of the question now (coupled with the star gazing muggings last year). Also means that the various albert falls loops are also not advisable anymore - which is equally disappointing. If you still plan on doing these loops get a biggish group and carry pepper spray I would be interested in getting a group together to try forge a path to upper ottos bluff rd from the cascades forests (maybe come out near the reservoir somewhere)..and thereby avoiding that informal settlement...if anyone is interested in such a mission..shout
