Garmin Conflict

I have a Garmin Virb Elite camera (with build in GPS) and a Garmin 800.

When the G800 is mounted on my stem and the Virb is on a bar mount next to it, it seems to have conflict when the camera is switched on.

The G800 stops recording my ride until the camera is off again.

When I mount the Virb camera on my helmit, both are fine, but it does not seem to like being next to the G800.

is there a setting to avoid this?

I have no idea with those specific devices but I have commented before that when I have wifi remote on my Sony action cam enabled that it interferes with my Garmin 800 ... as soon as I disable wifi it's fine . Many were sceptical because Wifi and satellite use different whatevers but that's how it is ....

Nope, did not work.

My wifi was on, so I switch it off anyway.

As soon as I started the Virb in a race on Saturday, the Garmin 800 satellite reception seized.

Strangely, 15 km later it resumed even though the Virb was still on.

I am baffled by this  .
