Who will be able to resist a bike ride on a fine African evening when the streets of the Moot takes on a quiet, almost personal character after dark?

In line with our ‘slow’ philosophy the pace of our Moot Thursday Knight Theme Rides will be relaxed and the distances manageable for any regular cyclist. The rides will be about 30km long without really steep climbs.

We will meet at 18:30 for a 19:00 departure at Carl’s Roastery, 232 18th Ave Rietondale, Pretoria. The routes will run through the Moot neighbourhoods of Rietondale, Deerness, Villieria, Moregloed, Waverley, Kilnerpark, Queenswood, Colbyn and Rietfontein. We then return to Carl’s Roastery for a well-earned nightcap, ‘slow’ bites and Jaco and Anton’s great coffee before dispersing home.
