Yesterday's wind caused lots of sticks across the trails and a few trees across the trail in one downhill off-camber section where we normally go quite fast. The fallen trees are at knee height. Had a big OTB there in the dark this morning. Didnt see the blackened tree trunk in my headlamp until too late. My bike is OK but I will be limping for a dew days and damn! The Howick Classic is on Sunday.
JXV Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 Did you move the trees?... No... almost managed to stop before impact so didn't hit them hard enough to hurt them[emoji12] Seriously though will need a saw to get them out of the way. Happy to do it on Sat if anyone wants to pitch in.
B1cyk1ll3r Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 was there on Sunday, not sure if it's the same spot but tree's are still there, small drop on the left to off camber. My very first ride so pretty happy it was bright enough to not go otb! Ruined my flow dammit!
