Hope hub evo 2 advice

HI Guys

 

I need some advice and im not sure why (Not mechanical at all) my rear hope hub stopped purring (making that distinctive hope noise).

 

So my question:

Should I be concern?

Can someone recommend a Hope hub specialist in the joburg area?

 

Before you guys ask:

Ive done about 5000km on them in the last year (mostly off road)

I don't ride in mud, but had to in joburg2c this year

I don't use a pressure hose to wash my bike

I do use dirt nurse to wash my bike

They are the easiest hubs to service.

 

The guys at The Trailhead have a certain relationship with the Hope importers at International Trade so take it to them.

 

Otherwise take it apart, clip the freebody off and see that all the springs/pawls are still active. Youtube it if you cant figure it out.

 

It really is quite simple. Make sure you 'click' the seal back in place when you put it back together otherwise it will be sticky and, well, not back together properly.
