  1. Not today, but a little local on Saturday....always good to be out.
  2. Maybe phone omnico they the cannondale distributors and they in Cape Town maybe they have a test day
  3. Got my SI3 in May after about 3 months wait....and all I can say is it was worth it...smiles, smiles, and more smiles. Mine is still stock but thinking of going 34 in the front. I do come from riding a hardtail carbon spaz (also love this bike and converted this to an SS for more riding fun) for the last 3 years so this bike is the ultimate in luxury for me. See if cyclelab don't have a test bike if you want to try it first.
  4. My first SS and first build must say it was great fun riding, I did look for gears the first couple of km's.
  5. There is a couple of them in Joburg. If you asking the question because you think there is money in opening one then I'm not too sure, as I think it's not as profitable as a gym. The initial outlay of equipment (eg. 40K for one cycleops Phantom Indoor trainer and you need at least say 10), rent, staff and so on makes for a very long investment before you will see return. Over the past years of cycling, I've been at 2 of them and it always seems like a seasonal thing as the one month the classes is all full and then all of a sudden its empty for 2 months or so. My 2 cents. Personally, I feel Powerbase training is a personal thing and should be personalised to your needs, not everyone has the same cycling goals. I got myself a good IDT and I'm suffering on my own, the same way as when you out there riding
  6. Thank you will have a look
  7. HI Guys I need some advice and im not sure why (Not mechanical at all) my rear hope hub stopped purring (making that distinctive hope noise). So my question: Should I be concern? Can someone recommend a Hope hub specialist in the joburg area? Before you guys ask: Ive done about 5000km on them in the last year (mostly off road) I don't ride in mud, but had to in joburg2c this year I don't use a pressure hose to wash my bike I do use dirt nurse to wash my bike Thanks in advance for the advice.

Im with you on this one, was very surprised to see him at the race. I must say it was very funny as non of the other pro's mixed with them at dinner, he pretty much looked like a outcast.

  14. Been a member of MTN club 100 for awhile mostly to get my race licence. Its always been a awesome club with great people road and mtb. I just hope that this move will not spoil all that made the club great in the first place. I agree the shirt is not the best, but yeah at least we will not look like bananas in pyjamas anymore
