As usual the DSTV programme schedule is useless and they are giving the cycling community a extremely poor services inrespect of The Cape Epic daily shows. As normal for DSTV they are not as per their schedule and they just show other sports in the Cape Epic slots!!!

Well the coverage is awful in my view. Thye need a new script writer and a better voice over. This is a big event for SA cycling and all media coverage - including updates on the Epic website - is poor and slow. Very frustrating.

Is that commentator not the same guy that does the triathlon commentary? He is awful. Very poor programming and very poor coverage for one of the best races in the world.

paul valstar does voice over, he did the event live previously, now the live part gets done by francois ashton.

Groot Lem, if you're anywhere as good as you were at the Sedgefield Fat Tyre Festival (circa 1992) with the microphone, then you should be first choice for Epic commentary, live at the event or TV footage voice over...

One of the highlights of that Fat Tyre Festival was your commentary.

thanks, was available this year with the injuries forcing me out of epic. my giro commentating at the circle for the signal hill tt was also cool until pick n pay got me removed as not being family friendly. a bit under the belt.
