We drove down from Benoni at 04:30, terrible driving conditions the whole way. I donated my R580 entry fee which is a bit of a piss take after they canned the cycle. The river was not looking good and all the outlying areas and roads were drenched. When i left they were talking about changing the swim course but the race was going to be a 1.9k swim and 21k run. In light of the policy regarding refunds or partial refunds i will never pre-enter a race again if you can enter on the day. I don't think it was wise to still race in that weather, the river looked very unpredictable.

Contact the guys at profile design, I have a set of the bars shown in the bottom image and they came with a spacer. The only problem you might have is that the angle of your wrists/hand might end up hurting your forearms. My current bars are very aggresive and it does tend to hurt a bit.

I have seen that there is a new mag being released at IMSA this year called Triathlon plus. I think Glen Gore is involved with the guys at Sportsguide. I get the UK edition and it is a great magazine. Apparently the local one will have the international content as well as local. Looking forward to it.

I like that ride, knowing your brother it probably does not get ridden much hey It pee's me off that someone is going to buy that for pocket change from whoever stole it.

I recently got a nasty chip on the red paint of my cervelo P2C fork. It got hammered by another bike while on the bike rack. Does anyone know where I can get touch up paint or get the chip fixed. It is quite deep and looks nasty.

At my first Ironman in PE there was a hell of a storm at around 8pm when I saw the most amazing lightning whilst running through the university. It was around this time of the year as well.

My LBS booted them out and won't have anything to do with them.

I am riding a newly purchased Cervelo P2SL and I am not sure my set up is 100%. I have moved my saddle up and forward a couple of times now. Feeling slight knee pain but not during riding. Where is the top place to get a proper time trial set up for Ironman in Gauteng? Does the HPC do something like this?

I am a big Lance fan, I for one am chuffed he is back. Did not really have a favourite to support at the TDF since he left. Might just sign up to go watch next year. Glad I bought those Astana socks for my ironman ride this year. Time for a full kit upgrade

Rosebank sports clininc. Go see a biokineticist there. There is also a good sports clinic at Morningside clinic in Sandton. You probably need to exercise and stretch certain muscles more to prevent this. My wife had ITB. Lots of stretching involved.

I bet last year as well, made a little bit on Robbie and also lost on Valverde. This year Cunego at 14/1 is my bet.

Hey Swift what would it cost excluding the wheels? Price of a car? Those Specialized bikes early on in the post are beautiful.
