Specialized Epic Elite or Giant Anthem X Advance - advice needed

Hi Hubbers.

Would really appreciate your advice on the following:

I'm able to source a 2015 Specialized Epic Elite for R48k - I like the Epic's responsiveness & stiffness, coming off a hardtail. Enjoyed the Brain...concerned about the service intervals & costs though.

Option 2 is the new 2016 Giant Anthem X Advance coming in Aug. Bike seems very well spec and good value for money option.

Option 3 is the 2016 Specialized Camber Comp - arriving end of Aug. Camber more trail orientated...has that unstoppable feeling. Didn't enjoy the bobbing.

Have test ridden the Epic and Camber, no Giant test bike available.

Was set on the Specialized Epic Elite, but I'm concerned about the service costs...could end up needing a service every 3-4 months. How does the service costs etc. of Brain compare to the Fox shocks? In my novice opinion it seems that most suspensions require similar attention, but it seems that Spez is more thorough recording and monitoring same, whilst the other brands seems to get away with the once a year service.

Giant lifetime warranty on their frames vs. Spez 5 years, if I'm not mistaken.

Any comments/suggestions would be highly appreciated.

I have the Epic Elite..... What an awesome bike!!! The front brain shock and rear is amazing!!! Got my bike in Feb and will service shocks after the winter, as long as you keep them clean!!!

Go for the spez and its a good price!!!
