Saw this on the Dirt Shed Show and thought it pretty neat and more useful to the gravity riders as won't be as crowded as Strava.

Sure we don't have many bike parks in SA, but this could work as intended at the various DH and Enduro venue's around the country.

It's up to the us, the user base to help populate the app so if you have a trail, time it and add it. The next person riding that trail will pick it up and can time themselves and it'll become a searchable trail if I understand it correctly.

Other than the name and lap counter, how does this differ from existing products?

 

I would check it out but the developers don't deem my OS worthy at this time.

Hi! I'm Natty with WorldBikeParks.com we are the one's who have launched BikeParkPRO.com / App. Just want to chime in and say that the Droid version should be out in a couple months, we are currently working on it. And also, we are different in that we are loading the trails to backend of the app. So users will not be able to create their own 'segments' also we have removed uplift from calculations. One can ride at a bike park and not have to worry about the data being wrong because of riding on a chair or shuttle rig. you can use the app anywhere in the world right now and we will see where the most traffic is coming from and load trails as soon as possible. Large task but pretty exciting for the park rider! If your bike park is currently not in the app you can add it and your ride stats will remain in your profile and become available once the trails have been added to the background.
