Kobie Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 I have a set of these Alu wheels and initially thought they would not be very strong as they are quite light (1365g), but a few times now I've hit some serious potholes at speed, without any damage at all. I've not seen anyone else riding with them. Any experience with these?
Johan Bornman Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 The only reason there is no damage is because you have not bottomed out and you where thus protected by the air in your tyre. Any piece of aluminium that impacts with a piece of asphalt will show some form of indentation.
