Swany05 Posted November 17, 2015 Author Posted November 17, 2015 As long as you didn't tighten the preload nut much beyond what it took to take up the play you'll be fine. If the play comes back it means you haven't torqued the pinch bots properly.just enough to take up slack awesome thanks for the help droo and others.
dirtrider Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 The plastic nut should be fastened with you hand . Torque wrench to tighten the arm !! Been doing it freehand for 15 years and yet to strip , break , or loose anything . There are two bolts holding it together , tighten each in turn until they stop turning (not creak , crackle or any other noises ) , if you really worried that you will loose a nut after 10km then put a bit lock-tite blue .

Agree . If you haven't got the feel for tension or the point just before a bolt snaps then get that funny gadget .
