Steel frames are usually quite straight forward to repair. Well, I'll bet money that Jared can do it if anyone can. He removed the badly bent downtube of a frame that he restored for me and welded in a replacement down tube from another scrapped bike. It is as good as new and totally invisible after the new paint job.
