Fitting a whole latex glove into a hole......very skillful......must have ripped a big hole that requires some intervention equipment to maintain the pressure afterwards.

 

What butting tool did you use to get the latex into the whole hole?

Leave them in.

 

But be aware, the points will often extend right through the tire so that the sharp points will be sticking out on the inside.  So if you ever do need to use a tube, make sure you pull them all out before inserting said tube.  This can be a slow and painful process, especially if all you have on the outside is a worn down embedded thorn point.

A leatherman (or similar) will make life easier - the ones with the long nose pliers on them.

if I can remember correctly 3cm +-

 

I had too use co2 bombs not very good for the latex though lasted the trail.

 

I used those park tool tyre levers that worked and the back of the lighter.
