Spez baggies are hot - too hot

For Christmas I bought a pair of ION baggies as well as a Specialized pro baggie with dedicated bib inner. The ION, used in conjunction with normal bib shorts are a great fit and feel - perhaps a bit on the flappy side but really nice. The Spez baggies are a big disappointment at R1750. Whilst the 34"  outer baggie is great with a nice fit and feel(once you get over their wild blue or green colour), the bib liner is very tight and too short on the braces. I am tempted to say it is a 30" size with the wrong label. I am going to have to cut it and insert a further 10cm lycra into each strap to allow them to fit without squeezing my, uh ... things too much. Hard to breath as it is now!!

And hot! Phew. This liner cooks! Maybe because they have double thickness leg cuffs, pockets on each leg and a pocket in the small of the back. Dunno but wow are these good for sweating. They're going into my draw until winter.

If you want Spez baggies, buy the baggie but skip the bib inner. My choice - the ION is great and will be better once the missus tapers the legs a bit.

I was also looking for ION baggies but settled for Alpinestars baggies. Absolutely love them. Paid R1300 without the inner shammi. I prefer my own bibs underneath

That probably has something to do with the tight waist, but the crotch to shoulder length is far too short
