I'm looking to meet some cool people who have a passion for dirt jumping in and around Cape Town.

I've only been jumping a for a short amount of time but am really keen to meet some peeps who are willing to jump, build and push me into the next level of this amazing yet fading sport.

I look forward to replies! Let the jumping begin!

Hi,

I just got to Cape Town last week, I flew from my home town of Ecuador and am in the same situation. I've looked at a couple of dirt jumping spots but havnt gotten around to riding much and was looking for people to ride with, Im living in down town Cape Town at the moment but would be keen to meet up to go ride some jumps, let me know.

Cheers

Hi.

Where abouts do you live?

UCT trails on Woolsack drive are fun and relatively good for progression.

Hi stay in Hout Bay, just around the corner from potato trails actually. I used to jump there but went passed the other day to find beautifully made, near vert jumps. I'm going to see if i can bump into Johnty and maybe get his permission to build a couple less extreme jumps on his property.

I have been passed the UCT jumps. They were looking a bit rundown when i saw them but nothing a flat head shovel, sweat and TLC can't fix.

I've been doing some building and jumping at the Pine Hurst trail. Having lots of fun, it would just be more fun if i had peeps to build and jumps with.

When are you free to meet up and jump/build some jumps? Do you have transport?

The UCT jumps have been a bit dormant during 2015. It seems they have had a bit of a #jumpsmustfall campaign! ;) I ride past and sometimes jump the smaller ones on my way back from the mountain. They are a bit neglected, but nothing a few dedicated diggers cannot fix in a couple of hours.
