that means it's a very steap hill, not sure on the precise height you will be climbing over a 100m.

100% gradient is 45 degrees (as the link shows).

 

The old way was to say 1mtr along for 1mtr up is a 1 in1 hill (not you 1Hill);

 

The % up of the % along is 100% in this case. Drawing it out gives a 45 degree line.
