PLEASE EXPLAIN THE FOLLOWING TO ME - WHAT DO THEY MEAN WHEN THEY SAY THE RIDERS ARE NOW GOING UP A HILL WHICH IS A 12% INCLINE ? DOES THAT MEAN THAT 100% WILL BE AT 90 DEGREES AS IN MATHS/ smiley5.gif

THAT IS EXCATLY MY QUESTION IS IT 30 DEGREES OR WHAT ? REMEMBER IT IS ALL RELATIVE

 

100% gradient is 45 degrees (as the link shows).

 

The old way was to say 1mtr along for 1mtr up is a 1 in1 hill (not you 1Hill);

 

The % up of the % along is 100% in this case. Drawing it out gives a 45 degree line.
