Silverback Monza advise

I'm looking to buy a road bike. (my first one)

I'm looking into the following:

2013 Silverback Monza (56cm) Carbon

- Shimano Ultegra 6601 groupset

- Mavic Kyrium Elite wheels (gatorskin)

- Fizik Arione saddle

- Deda Ultra seatpost

 

For R10 000

 

Is this a good buy? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I think for a first bike this will be OK
Groupset a little old. 

Wheelset wil set you back R3000

 

I think a good buy you get ok value for money.

I'm trying to find a rough estimate of what that bike would've cost in 2013 but can't seem to find the Monza anywhere....

As your first road bike it'll be more than capable and is certainly a decent rig! Plus you're getting it with ultegra groupset which is cool! If you really want to know the price phone one of the Silverback stocking shops and ask them for a guesstimate. My own guess is that it was more than 25K new for that model.
