Tyre trouble made me lose quite a bit of time.

A HUGE thanks to the guys that stopped to give me bombs, they saved my race. 

Was frustrating, but still a fun day out and Amy Beth McDougall parked next to me in the parking lot

I see she came 3rd overall today. The announcer wasn't far off when he said most people would struggle to take her on.

She is really strong, Im a roadie not a MTber so i had to make up all the time I lost on the technical sections on the tar and flat roads.

 

I was gunning it at 400watts and she was the only one who could keep up with me.

The came the tech sections and she dropped me

 

I hammered it on the last tar section and manger to overtake one guy and finished 4th overall and 3rd in the mens cat, could see amy up the road but there was not enough tar, 6 seconds.
