Full RD cable housing on MTB

So to come back to my original problem ....... all those rubber boots and thingamijigs are very nice and work fine on my Epic (I have an XTR cable kit on there!) where it in fact has a piece of outer going under the BB.

 

On my S-works HT it is just the bare cable going through a guide under the BB (like most roadbikes?). That's where the problem comes in and why I am considering the full housing.

 

I hope to fit it in the next week or so and will let y'all know how it goes.

Wouldn't it be possible to replace the cable guide under the BB on your S-works with the same one used on your Epic? Then you wouldn't have an issue with fitting the continuous housing.

Lurker - if only ...... problem is there are no cable stops around the BB of my HT like on the Epic!

Drilled my cable stops to run full housing. Easy job and the warrenty wasn't affected
