It's always s difficult to declare any place in RSA safe but I ride there most Sunday's. As Ysterperd says there have been a number of improvements and most importantly no attacks in about 4 months. Last Sunday I saw at least 20 bikes out and about the same amount of hikers. I'm riding there again this Sunday at 8:00 you're welcome to join me for the company but I feel it's safe enough to ride on my own.
